Step 1: Think about what’s rare

  • Something that does not occur very often, a rare genetic disorder; something not found in large numbers, of interest or value, a gemstone, something unusually good or remarkable

Step 2: Wear Stripes

  • When you “hear hoofbeats, think Zebra”. The zebra is the mascot of rare disease day with it markings celebrating strength, and discouraging common thinking by thinking about uncommon diagnoses

Step 3: to Where

  • Where stripes out and about to spread awareness, visit a zoo
