Something that does not occur very often, a rare genetic disorder; something not found in large numbers, of interest or value, a gemstone, something unusually good or remarkable
Step 2: Wear Stripes
When you “hear hoofbeats, think Zebra”. The zebra is the mascot of rare disease day with it markings celebrating strength, and discouraging common thinking by thinking about uncommon diagnoses
